相关介绍：父亲为美国人，出生于母亲祖国黎巴嫩首都贝鲁特，本名Michael Holbrook Penniman的Mika，从小因为身处战乱动荡的国家，随后迁至巴黎躲避不时存在的丧命危机，九岁举家定居伦敦，才有了安全的庇护。从小钟爱音乐的Mika，虽然过着颠沛流离的生活，但音乐就像守护神般抚慰着他惊恐的心灵；开始着手创作的Mika，将音乐编织出一篇篇动人故事，让自己走入虚幻的美丽情节，不会因为从小的环境影响，而创作出灰暗、深沉甚至高声呐喊的凄惨内容，反而以更为鲜明、有趣、可爱、亮丽等音符取代。求学期间受到皇家音乐学院的专业训练，让Mika对于录音、编曲等技术有更为精湛的概念与技能。2006年在BBC Radio 1发表首支单曲“Relax (Take It Easy)”，受到驻台DJ Scott Mills推崇为「当周最佳唱片」，首张专辑也在环球唱片签下后，成为旗下全力打造的秘密武器。
