Miley Cyrus是著名美国歌手和演员。她的成名剧集是迪士尼频道的《孟汉娜》(Hannah Montana)。她在此剧里饰演一个住在美国加州Malibu的14岁女孩，麦莉·史都华(Miley Stewart)。

早年

麦莉·赫拉生于田纳西州富兰克林市。她出道前是在Heritage中学上学。她年小时是在她们家族的农场长大。她的父亲就是著名乡村歌手Billy Ray Cyrus，她现在与生父、生母、同父异母的哥哥、同母异父的哥哥、同母异父的姊姊、还有亲弟弟、亲妹妹一起居住。她的原名是命运·希望 (Destiny Hope)，她有另一个名字叫"麦莉"，原因是因为年小时经常笑(Smiley)。所以人家就叫她做麦莉(Miley)。麦莉是一个虔诚的基督徒，她每周都会和家人到教堂作礼拜。

事业

在《孟汉娜》于2006年3月24日在美国首播后，麦莉随即在美国红起来，现在已是一位大红大紫的名星。麦莉可算是遗传了她父亲的唱歌和演戏的天分，她不但会唱歌、演戏，还会作曲，在孟汉娜里的歌曲全部都是她自作自唱的。2006年10月24日，迪士尼唱片终于推出了她的专辑，虽然只是电视剧原声大碟，但意义重大，因为这原声大碟是Billboard专辑榜史上第一张排行第一的电视剧原声大碟。

因为爸爸的关系，麦莉很小就开始表演，2003年便开始了她的职业表演生涯，当时出演一部电视剧《Doc》，然后在《Love Boat;The Next Wave》里客串角色，而最显著的一小部分是在蒂姆-巴尔顿的《大鱼》。
从小麦莉就对音乐产生浓厚的兴趣，在很小的时候便开始写歌和学习唱歌。在05年的时候她终于可以把自己的音乐发挥在工作上，她在美国迪士尼频道的电视剧《Hannah Montana》中饰演女主角。麦莉饰演的角色Hannah Montana，是一个年仅14岁的儿童明星，她早上在学校上课，叫Miley Stewart，晚上在台上演出，叫Hannah Montana，同学们都很喜欢Hannah Montana，但不知道Miley Stewart和Hannah Montana其实是一个人，在这一部超搞笑的青春喜剧中，麦莉饰演人格分裂的两个人。

Hannah Montana

《Hannah Montana》在美国非常火，在播放开始就吸引了540万人收看，迪士尼顺势推出剧集的原声碟《Hannah Montana》。因为剧集受欢迎，原声碟发行第一周就以28.1万张的销量空降Billboard 200专辑榜冠军，成为Billboard全美专辑榜史上首张排行第一的电视剧原声大碟。而在HOT 100单曲榜中，原声碟中的六首都上榜，让《Hannah Montana》成为1991年Nielsen SoundScan和Nielsen BDS数据统计系统启用以来，拥有上榜单曲最多的一张专辑。

同年秋天，麦莉在迪士尼的另一部很受欢迎的剧《Cheetah Girls》作公开演出，还演唱了主题曲《Best of Both Worlds》，后来作为单曲发行，同样大受欢迎。今年3月，《Hannah Montana》的原声大碟再版。
不仅如此，迪士尼还将该剧集的游戏版卖给任天堂，任天堂为它设计了两款游戏，NDS版的《Hannah Montana：Music Jam》是包含吉他和鼓点的节奏游戏，而Wii版则是伴随音乐按键的舞蹈音乐游戏。

写歌

不要以为麦莉只是会唱唱闹闹的小女生，实际上除了演戏、唱歌，她还是一位创作强人。《Hannah Montana》里面的歌曲都由麦莉自己创作并演唱，她唱了8首歌，还与爸爸合唱了一首《I Learned from You》。这一次的双CD中，除了《Hannah Montana 2》，还有麦莉自己的首张个人专辑《Meet Miley Cyrus》，专辑中麦莉同样创作了8首歌曲，麦莉接受访问时说其实她已经写了100多首歌，但只选了8首放在专辑中，让专辑听上去更像一本音乐日记。 "《I Miss You》这首歌是写给2006年去世的爷爷的，而《See You Again》和《G.N.O.(Girls'Night Out)》这两首歌是在迪士尼频道演唱会上演唱过的。"
