The Rasmus是来自芬兰的超级年轻摇滚乐团『雷斯魔』，组团之始才仅是16岁的年轻小伙子，包括主唱Lauri、吉他手Pauli、贝斯手Eero与鼓手Aki，虽然一心想在家乡闯出个名堂，但他们却一致认为芬兰的摇滚乐逊爆了！(这话应该让那些北欧金属黑/死/歌德等猛团听的气急败坏吧？)随即The Rasmus便展开改造计划。幸运的在1996年，The Rasmus于华纳发行首张专辑「Peep」，快速的锁定当地摇滚乐迷的心，大破金唱片纪录！当时在欧洲席卷起的效应，是一波一波的来袭，巡回演唱超过百场之纪录，仍无法浇熄这四位年轻体盛、创作充沛的摇滚怪才，很快的再度返回录音室开录第二张专辑「Playboys」，仍是荣获金唱片销量，同时首度获得芬兰的葛莱美音乐奖-埃玛奖之『最佳新进艺人』。1999年的第三张专辑「Hellofatester」，其中先发之作「Liquid」获得当年度票选最佳单曲；2001年换东家后展现雄威的「Into」，更为强力的拓展音乐版图到邻近各国，狂销双白金还不打紧，接连在埃玛奖上大出风头的领取【最佳团体】、【最佳流行／摇滚乐团】、【年度最佳专辑】、【年度最佳单曲-F-f-f-falling】等奖项，吉他手Pauli还获得【年度最佳制作人】的肯定！第五张作品「Dead Letters」，锋芒毕露的大放异彩到全球各地，欧洲各国相继沦陷，获颁白金殊荣，进而曰本、美国以及台湾，都开始注意到The Rasmus的超人气，单曲「In The Shadow」占领8国排行冠军，就连每周竞争激烈的英国金榜，仍是强势盘旋冠军八周之久！
