歌手介绍:
Selena 1971年4月16日出生于美国得克萨斯州，Selena嫁给了Los Dinos乐队的吉他手Chris Perez，1993年Selena和乐队获得了葛莱美最佳表演奖。1995年，她发现她最可以信赖的朋友之一Yolanda Saldivar 有贪污的行为，并且最后争论起来 。随后，Yolanda Saldivar 向 Selena 开了枪……但她没有立即死亡，跑出大厅喊到“Yolanda Saldivar是杀人犯”。一个小时后Selena死在医院中。Yolanda Saldivar被判入狱30年。
Selena 意外去世后，全美各地各种自发的悼念活动不断。而当时仍是德州州长的乔治布什（就是现在长得像骡和猴子杂交成果的某国总统拉）宣布将 4.16定为德州的 Selena 日。
