Little Big Town这个乡村音乐组合是由Karen Fairchild，Kimberly Roads，Jimi Westbrook和Phillip Sweet成立于1998年。乐队一直致力于协凋（harmony）和多元化演唱风格，每个成员都能来上两手。就是这样一个不寻常的组合，一开始就在田纳西州打下了一片天，随后就加盟了Mercury 3 Records，但那里的制作理念同乐队的商业方式发生了冲突。在另一支乡村组合Dixie Chicks取得成功后，Little Big Town看中了他们的运作方式，于2000加盟了Dixie Chicks的唱片公司Monument Records，谁知这一等就是两年，2002年，才发行了第一张单曲，名字叫Dont Waste My Time。直到冬天才回到他们的正轨上出版了他们同名专辑。2005年又出版了第二张专辑The Road to Here。
乐队四个成员均拥有一定的创作能力及演唱能力，所以很难找出一个灵魂来，这对乐队风格融合的确是一项不小的挑战，但这两男两女的努力及配合使得这个问题看来根本就不需要担心。但愿拥有正统country music的Little Big Town会给我们带来更大的突破。
