继“No angle”之后，英国创作才女Dido于2003年发行第二张个人专辑“Life for Rent”（《漂泊的心》），“White flag”是该专辑中颇受歌迷青睐的主打力作。清新、舒畅、温柔彻骨，这都是Dido一直以来电子融合流行民谣式的典型风格，较之上张专辑，《Life for Rent》最大的特点就是“较多的伤感成分”，“White flag”正是这种“韧性伤感”的集中体现。
