大众汽车（德语：Volkswagen）是一家总部位于德国沃尔夫斯堡的汽车制造公司，也是世界四大汽车生产商之一的大众集团的核心企业。2016年位居《财富》世界500强第7位。[1]
Volks在德语中意思为“国民”，Wagen在德语中意思为“汽车”，全名的意思即“国民的汽车”，故又常简称为“VW”。台湾译为福斯汽车，港澳、大陆译为大众汽车或福士汽车，意思是“人民的汽车”。整个汽车集团在2012年产销超过907万辆，大众品牌则超过574万辆。
2013年11月14日，国家质检总局通报，大众汽车（中国）销售有限公司、一汽－大众汽车有限公司、上海大众汽车有限公司决定自2013年11月25日起，召回部分大众、奥迪和斯柯达汽车，共计640309辆（落地)。2014年10月，一汽-大众再次宣布召回部分新速腾和甲壳虫汽车。
国家质检总局发布公告表示，大众将在华召回7.8万辆进口汽车，因车辆的转向柱存在缺陷。召回的车型包括2009年1月22日至2014年5月6日期间生产的部分进口2009-2014年款途威、奕鸥、尚酷、尚酷R、跨界高尔夫、高尔夫旅行版、高尔夫R、迈腾旅行轿车、迈腾全路况车、CC及夏朗汽车。

It was founded in 1937 by the National Socialist 2 trade union German Labour Front. The name Volkswagen means “people’s car” in German. The company’s first success was the VW Type 82E – the Beetle 3, which is the best-selling car of all time. The company is part-owned by Porsche, the German state of Lower Saxony and the oil-rich Gulf 4 state of Qatar. Volkswagen has built a reputation for quality and reliable cars. Models such as the Golf, Polo and New Beetle are bestsellers worldwide. The company is investing heavily in hybrid 5 technology and is a leader in greener, electric vehicles.
