The second Chinese Robotics conference recently held in Tianjin is posing 1 the ever pressing question of will robots eventually be a household necessity. Are robots going to be a must have for homes in the future? Sam Duckett brings us the answers.

That was the sound of house hold robot doing simple math and it was one of the highlights at the second Chinese Robotics conference held in Tianjin on the 9th June 2015.
With a growth of Chinese tech research units showing off their latest toys looking to aid households, factories and beyond, one of the key highlights of the conference was this household assistant by a research unit promoted by the National Independent Innovation 2 Demonstration 3 Zone in Tianjin.
When the robot was unveiled a representative of the team who put the robot together gave the following explanation of its features.
