2007年夏天英国最耀眼的新星是谁？当然是Hip 7 Hop潮流女孩莉莉•艾伦.这个21岁小姑娘首支正式发行的单曲《Smile》在英国单曲排行榜蝉联两周冠军，网络下载量超过30万次。Lily Allen是英国著名演员、歌手Keith Allen和电影制作人Alison Owen的女儿，可谓系出名门。但父母在她5岁时就离异并各自成立新家庭，这让Lily Allen的童年和少年时代都充满叛逆的情绪。在她15岁那年，她拒绝组合坚持独立发展，结果与后来被誉为“英国首席女子组合”的Sugababes擦肩而过。
