Michelle Wright: Delta's pilots have approved an agreement which will help the bankrupt carrier get back on its feet, says Airline spokeswoman Chris Kelly.
Chris Kelly: We are er, feel pretty good er, that this will get us where we need to be. This contributes to the numbers that we outlined in our transformation 1 plan right after we went into the bankruptcy 2 court, and that we're fairly confident that er, this should do it for a while.
Michelle Wright: The deal includes 280 million dollars in concessions 3, including an initial 14% pay cut.

Michelle Wright: It's not the content of character, but the color of one's skin that could determine the rate you pay for a mortgage, according to a recent study.
Matt Cherry: A report by the Center for Responsible Lending finds African-Americans and Latinos are 30% more likely to get higher rates for home loans than whites, that's irregardless of credit scores and risk factors.
Debbie Gruenstien Bocian: Racial and ethnic 4 disparities persist even despite, um controlling for these, these risk factors.
Matt Cherry: Center Senior Analyst 5 Debbie Gruenstein Bocian adds that many lenders and brokers 6 steer 7 people into higher cost loans than they can afford. She says those high-cost lenders may be targeting minorities more aggressively. Matt Cherry, CNN.
Michelle Wright: Speaking of mortgages, applications fell last week as the rate for 30-year fixed 8 loans increase to 6.66%, that's the highest it's been in 4 years. However, 15-year fixed rate mortgages and adjustable 9 rate mortgages were down.

Lee Garen: A new survey completed by Right Management indicates that American workers feel more confident about their job security today than they did 6 months ago. Over 80% feel there's little to no chance that they will lose their job during the coming year.
