Michelle Wright: The Fed is boosting its rates once again.
Susan Lisovicz: It raised the federal funds rate for a 16th consecutive 3 time to 5%, the highest level it's been in five years. That the Fed would hike again was a given on Wall Street. The real suspense 4 was left for the accompanying statement. And in it, the Fed said some further policy firming may yet be needed to address inflation risk.

Michelle Wright: If you are looking to save money on gas, pay attention to the time of day when you fill up.
Brad Procter: You wanna buy at the coolest times of the day, because the way the gas pumps works, work… doesn't work on volume, it works on density 5. And the cooler things are, the less dense 6 the gasoline is; so you get more gasoline with that capability 7.

Michelle Wright: Good news for Disney. Their profits are up 12% on strong television ratings and increased traffic at their theme parks, which should continue, says Al Weiss, president of Disney's Worldwide Operations.
Al Weiss: People will come to Walt Disney World just to see Expedition Everest. And when they do that, they’ll come and visit Animal Kingdom, but they will also come and visit the other three parks, so it’s gonna raise the water in all of our four parks over all. And I think that’ll be very positive for us.
Michelle Wright: According to Weiss, gas prices shouldn't affect tourism this summer, but the gas shortage would.

Michelle Wright: According to a new CNN poll taken by Opinion Research Corporation, the biggest concern weighing on Americans' minds is how much prices are going to increase.
Keating Holland: There're obviously growing concerns about the future economic conditions. 45% say they are very concerned that inflation will rise. Another 37% say they're somewhat concerned. So at least eight in ten Americans are concerned about inflation.
Michelle Wright: CNN polling director Keating Holland.

Michelle Wright: And President Bush met with victims of identity theft today at the White House.
President Bush: I listened to their ideas about how the federal government can help in the response in the...not only dealing 8 with those who commit the crime, but helping those who have been victimized.
Michelle Wright: The president says his administration is taking this issue very seriously.
