Kerys: It's quite boring, quite gray, quite rainy, not a lot of things for, to do, not a lot of things to do.
 
Todd: OK. And how long have you lived in Manchester?
 
Kerys: I don't live there.
 
Todd: Oh, OK. So not anymore, OK. I'm sorry!
 
Kerys: No. Not anymore.
 
Todd: OK. Um..what other places have you lived?
 
Kerys: I've lived in Thailand, I've lived in Spain, and France, and I now live in Japan.
 
Todd: OK. What's your favorite country so far?
 
Kerys: I love Thailand.
 
Todd: Yeah, Thailand's great.
 
Kerys: Yep!
 
Todd: What did you like about Thailand?
 
Kerys: I love the fact that people smile all the time.
 
Todd: That's true. The land of smiles.
 
Kerys: Yep.

The phrase 1 'take two' basically 2 means 3 to try again.  This comes from phrases 4 used by directors 5 making movies.  Every time there is a mistake they have to try the scene again it is a 'take.'   Notice the following:
 
We will do take two, take three and take four if we have to.

'Gray' is a color which is a combination 6 of white and black.  It can be like silver, or like a very light black.  Notice the following:

I don't live there, not anymore.
 
We use the phrase 'not anymore' when something used to be true in the past but it isn't now.  Notice the following:
 
We aren't together now, not anymore.
I don't work there anymore.

Thailand is the land of smiles, because people smile all the time.
 
This is a phrase is used to describe Thailand.  It means the country where everyone smiles.  Notice the following:
 
I really felt like Cambodia was the land of smiles.
