-In 1860s, D.C.was still * sex pool. So you got a critical mass of young, lonely, scared, horney kids. That was an amazing congregation of * for all the brothels and prostitutes of the city. -For a young woman warning to * the brothel, D.C. ws a priminister to do it. -At one point, there were over 5,000 prostitutes in D.C. allowment. There were also over 500 brothels.
But most of these brothels were anything but pleasant. -You're running a brothel was a index room, men you're lucky if you weren't stabbed there by some kind * girls sitting in the corner.
