There is a car race near our town every year.
In 1995, there was 1 a very bigrace.
There were hundreds of people there. My wife 2 and I were at the race. Our friends Julie and Jack 3 were there, too. You can see us in thecrowd. We are standing 4 on the left.
There were 20 cars in the race. There were English cars, French 5 cars, German 6 cars, Italian 7 cars, American cars and Japanese 8 cars.
It was an exciting finish. The winner 9 was Billy Stewart. He was in car number 15. Five other cars werejust behind him.
On the way home, my wife said 10 to me, "Don't drive so quickly! You're not Billy Stewart!"
