Mike: Hi, Amanda. What's that magazine you're reading? That's a humongous picture of Leehom Wang on the cover!

Amanda: Oh, this is just one of the celebrity 1 gossip rags I like to read. How else am I supposed to get the latest dirt on Taiwan's pop stars and other celebrities 2? Reading these magazines is one of my guilty pleasures. Would you like to take a look?
Mike: No thank you. To be honest, I don't have that much interest in reading about who Jay Chou is or is not dating, how Jolin Tsai gets her eyes to look so big, or what silly outfit 3 Aska Yang was seen wearing last weekend. They might be "teen idols 4," but they're definitely not my idols!
Amanda: Just because I like reading about these celebrities doesn't mean that I want to be like them, Mike. Sometimes it's just comforting to see that famous people make stupid mistakes, too—celebrities just happen to look more attractive when they're making those mistakes. Most of them do, anyway.
Mike: No one's saying you shouldn't read your celebrity gossip. It's just not my cup of tea.
Amanda: I see. Well, I guess you're not interested in looking at this photo spread of Rainie Yang then.
Mike: Cute Rainie Yang? Really? All right, maybe I'll reconsider...
