Amanda: Mike, I'm so excited about our trip to Hong Kong! It's the first time I'm traveling overseas with you. I'm glad we arrived at the airport three hours early－there was such a long line at the check-in counter.
Mike: Yeah, but we'd have been done sooner if your baggage hadn't been overweight. We're only going to Hong Kong for a week－I don't know how much stuff you've packed!
Amanda: Well, at least I had my passport ready－you took ages searching for yours in that enormous backpack. I wouldn't be surprised if you lost your boarding pass already.
Mike: Nope, I have it in my pocket. Let's see, our flight number is CX345. The monitor says our flight is on time. It says all passengers should be at the gate at least 30 minutes before departure.
Amanda: Awesome 1! That means there's plenty of time before we have to go to the security checkpoint and put our baggage through the X-ray machine. I want to do some duty-free shopping before we go to our boarding gate.
Mike: You and your shopping really get on my nerves sometimes, Amanda. Here, let me help you with that cart. I think you're having trouble steering 2 it－your carry-on luggage seems to weigh a ton already!
