Israeli police kill attackers in two incidents in Jerusalem. In the first incident Wednesday Israeli officers shot and kill a Palestinian assailant armed with a knife as he run toward an entrance to Jerusalem's old city. Hours later in east Jerusalum a Palestinian stabbed an Israeli woman near Jerusalem's main bus station before being shot died. Israel is trying to stop a recent wave of attacks on Jews by Palestinians and Israeli Arab using knives, cars, guns, rocks and fire bombs. Palestinian president Abas blamed Israel for the violence as he addressed his people on TV: Abas said we will continue in national struggle based on our right to self defense 2 and a peaceful popular resistance. He repeated the allegations that Israeli efforts to undermine 3 Muslem prayers at Jerusalum's Al-aqsa Mosque 4.
