Beijing Design Week Opens to the Public

The first Beijing Design Week has now opened, with dozens of domestic and overseas institutions, galleries, brands, artists, and schools taking part of the weeklong event.
130 different activities will be held in about 100 design landmarks 1 in Beijing, such as the famous Dashilar hutong, 751D Park, Ditan Park, Sanlitun Village, among others. More than 60 famous brands will be involved, and about 800 international designers will be coming to Beijing.
Organizers hope over 500,000 fans of design will visit the Beijing Design Week & the First Beijing International Design Triennial, with an indirect audience of about 3 million people.
