Asian stocks continued a falling trend amid global bear market.
China's benchmark Shanghai Composite Index closed at 2,433 points, down 0.4 percent.
The Shenzhen Component 1 Index fell 1.2 percent.
Hong Kong stocks closed down 1.36 percent, at 17,669.
In Japan, the benchmark Nikkei 225 Average fell 2.1 percent to 8,560.
In Australia, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index lost 1.6 percent.
The broader All Ordinaries index also lost 1.6 percent.
