China-Arab Forum to Boost Trade Ties

A massive Sino-Arab conference is now underway in northwest China.
The second China-Arab States Economic and Trade Forum 1 is taking place in Ningxia's capital of Yinchuan.
Jia Qinglin, China's top political advisor 2, has opened the forum, saying the Chinese government plans to continue providing financial and technological 3 support for Chinese companies that wish to build infrastructure 4 in Arab states.
Jia also says the central government is also planning to make it easier for Arab countries to do business here in China.
More than 7-thousand delegates from 76 countries and regions are attending this year's conference in Yinchuan.
For more on the forum, CRI's Larry Chen had a chance to speak with Wu Bingbing, head of the Department of Arabic Language and Culture at Peking University.
