Dialogue 1

(Tom and Mike go out partying.)

Tom: Mike, what are you doing tonight?

Mike: Nothing special. I just want to get plastered 2.

Tom: I don't feel like drinking tonight .I'm gonna hang out at YY's.

Mike: YY's ? That place is boring .How about Xara's? It's real classy , and they keep the place spin 3 and span 4.

Tom: Yeah ,but it's expensive .Nah ,I'm going to YY's.

Mike: On second thought ,I think I'll join you.

Tom: They 've just revovated the place .You may be surprised.

Mike: Wow,they really went to town on this place!

Tom: Quite a difference ,huh?

Mike: Sure is. Waiter,bring us two drafts,please.

Tom: Ah hah.Thought you were't drinking.

Mike: When in Rome ,do as the Romans do.

Dialogue 2

(Seth and Kenny go out for happy hour.)

Seth: Hi,Kenny. Let's go for a drink.

Kenny: Sounds good .Where are we going?

Seth: Somewhere new .It's a great place to pick up chicks.

Kenny: Need a new .girlfriend,huh?

Seth: Yeah,I broke up with Lisa.She blew a gasket over it.

Whoa,get a load of that!

Kenny: Whew! That getup is terrific 5!

Seth: Never mind the getup.She's beautiful!

Kenny: That too.

Seth: I'm gonna introduce myself.

Kenny: If you're lucky,that might do the trick.

Seth: Oh,oh,that tears it! I'm getting out of here.

Kenny: Hold on! What's the big hurry?

Seth: My ex-girlfriend's here.If she sees me,my goose is cooked.

Kenny: I wanna finish my drink first. I'll meet you at Sammy's.

Seth: OK,catch ya later.
