  Episode 1 3 Show time

Dialog 1

Sandy is at Jessica's apartment. They both want to go to the party, but are waiting for Paul.

Sandy: Oh, hi, Jessica, are you going to see this movie too?

Jessica: I'd love to, the movies are smash 2 hit.

Sandy: Then let's go in.

Jessica: I can't. I'm waiting for Paul, but he's late.

Sandy: I'll say the movie's starting in the minute.

Jessica: I know. I wonder what's keeping him.

Sandy: Looks like he won't show up. He's done this before, hasn't he?

Jessica: Yeah, a number of times.

Sandy: What's he trying to pull anyway.

Jessica: I don't know. But this is definitely the last straw.

Sandy: Maybe you should start seeing someone else.

Jessica: You said it. Ok, let's go in, Sandy.

Dialog 2

Carole was stood up by Simon. Carole and Rebecca are sitting around having coffee.

Rebecca: Did you enjoy that new movie?

Carole: That movie's just a lot of noise, same as Simon.

Rebecca: Oh, what happened, Carole?

Carole: I had to go by myself, he couldn't make it.

Rebecca: What? I met him just before I took off from Kitty's, he said he was coming.

Carole: Kitty's? He sure gets around, doesn't he?

Rebecca: Looks like it. So how did he handle it to?

Carole: His excuse was familiar. He said his car died again.

Rebecca: I think that's a bunch of nonsense. It seemed ok to me.

Carole: I know. Last week he gave me a lie about being too busy.

Rebecca: Doesn't sound promising 3.

Carole: Well, I think it's the time to pull the plug.

Rebecca: If you want I'll let him know if I run into him.

Carole: Thanks anyway, but I'll do it, Rebecca. Let's get the class.
