Tears for a Watch Chain

Shopkeeper, Mr. Fishbine: Now, what's so important that you come banging 1 on my door on Christmas Eve?

Madge: You know that gold watch chain in the window?

Fishbine: The one hanging up on the nail?

Madge: I want that gold watch chain in the window.

Fishbine: It's packed for a New Year's Day sale. Besides, you did that number with my son.

Madge: Please, Mr. Fishbine! Morley said you'd sell me that chain for $20. And if you knew what I had to go through to get the money!

Fishbine: No no, now now now, don't cry! I can't stand it when a woman cries! All that blubbering and mascara running down all over the place. Oh, all right! You can have it! I'll get you the chain if it means that much to you!

Madge: Oh, thank you.

Fishbine: No problem. That'll be $20. No refunds 2, no exchanges, understand?

Madge: Yes, yes! Here!
