在诊所。
1. What’s wrong with you? / What’s the matter with you?
你哪里不舒服?
2. I’m ill./I fell ill.
不舒服。
I’m well./I fell well.
我身体很好。
My back hurts. / I have a pain in my back. / I have a backache.
我的背痛。
I have a sore throat.
我嗓子疼。
I have a cough.
我咳嗽。
I have a fever.
我发烧。
I have a runny nose.
我流鼻涕。
I fell sick.
我想吐。
I have a diarrhea.
我腹泻。
3. You have the flu.
你得的是流感。
You have a cold.
你感冒了。
4. Stay in bed for two or three days.
卧床休息两三天。

Unit one: Making a doctors appointment.
预约医生
N: Good morning, Doctor Michael’s office.
早上好，这里是麦客医生诊所。
P: Good morning, I'd like to make an appointment to see a doctor please.
早上好，我想预约医生。
N: What name is it? Please.
请问你叫什么名字？
P: Vincent. Pan
N: Are you a patient at this office? Mr. Pan.
潘先生，请问你是我们诊所的患者吗？
P: No, I’m not.
不，不是。
N: Is it an emergency?
是急诊吗？
P: Yes.
是。
N: Can you come today at one o’clock?
那你今天一点能来吗？
P: Yes.
可以。
N: Ok, Your appointment is with a doctor Park.
好了，你预约的是 PARK 医生。
P: Thank you very much. Good bye.
非常感谢，再见。
Unit two: Seeing the doctor.
看病
N: Mr. Pan?
潘先生？
P: Yes.
我是。
N: Sit down please.
请坐。
P: Thank you.
谢谢。
D: Now what’s the problem?
那里不舒服？
P: I hurt my wrist.
我的手腕受伤了。
D: What happen?
怎么回事。
P: I fell at land on my arm.
我摔了一跤，胳膊着地。
D: Where does it hurt?
哪里疼？
P: It hurts here.
这里疼。
D: Does it hurt when you bend it a like this?
像这样弯曲的时候疼吗？
P: Yes. It hurts a lot.
是的，很疼。
D: It’s very badly swollen 2. It’s probably just bruise 3, but it could be broken. So I’m going to ask you to the hospital for an X-Ray.
这儿肿的厉害，可能只是擦伤，也可能骨折了，所以我打算让你去医院照个X光片。
P: How do I get to the hospital?
去医院怎么走？
D: Take a taxi and ask for Bellflower hospital. It’s not far. When you get there you should go to the emergency department.
打车去风铃草医院，离这儿不远。你到那应该去急救科。
P: Thank you very much.
非常感谢。
D: And take the prescription to the drugstore. It’s for pain killers 4. Take two every four hours if you need them.
那这个处方去药店。是止痛药，如里你需要每4个小时服两片
- The physician made a prescription against sea- sickness for him.医生给他开了个治晕船的药方。
- The drug is available on prescription only.这种药只能凭处方购买。
- Her legs had got swollen from standing up all day.因为整天站着，她的双腿已经肿了。
- A mosquito had bitten her and her arm had swollen up.蚊子叮了她，她的手臂肿起来了。
