Unit one: calling about an apartment. 租房电话咨询
P1: Hello. 喂。
P2: Hello, I am calling about the flat. I mean apartment you advertised in the paper. Is it still available?
你好，我打电话是为了你在报纸上刊登的公寓出租的事，那公寓还出租吗？
P1:Yes. It’s. 是的，可以。
P2: The ad says It's furnished. What furniture does it have?
广告上说屋内带家具，有什么家具呢？
P1: Well, it’s has a table and four chairs, a sofa in the living room, a bed, and…. Let's see, oh yes, a stove and a refrigerator.
有一张桌子和四把椅子，起居室里有一个沙发还有一张床，哦，我想想，对了，还有一个炉子和一个冰箱。
P2: Does the rent include electricity? 房租里包含电费吗？
P1: Yes, It does. 是的，含在里边。
P2: Oh good. Well, I think I'd like to have a look at it.
很好，那么我想看看房子，什么时间合适呢？
P1: How about seven o’clock this evening? 今天晚上7点怎么样？
P2: That’s fine. My name is Jimmy Hunter. See you then.
可以。我叫Jimmy Hunter。7点钟见。
P1: Ok, Mr. Hunther. Goodbye. 好的，Hunther先生，再见。
P2: Goodbye. 再见。
Unit two: Looking at an apartment. 看房
P1: Hello. I’m here to look at the flat you have for rent. 您好，我来看你出租的公寓。
P2: Flat? OH, you mean apartment. Yes, of course. this way please. Well, this is the living room. 哦，您是说公寓，好的，当然可以。请这边走。嗯，这边是起居室。
P1: Um, it’s nice. But it’s a bit small.嗯，很好，但有点小。
P2: Let me show you around the rest of the apartment. The kitchen is through here.
让我带你看看公寓其它的地方，厨房在这儿。
P1: Um, It’s a big kitchen. 嗯，真是个大厨房。
P2: Yes, it’s a real eat-in kitchen. 是呀，这是一个可以放餐桌吃饭的厨房。
P1: The kitchen seems fine. What about the bathroom?
厨房看起来不错，浴室怎么样？
P2: It’s right behind you. 就在您身后。
P1: May I take a look at it? 我能看一下吗？
P2: Sure, be my guest. 当然可以，别客气。
P1: Well, the bathroom is nice. 好，浴室很好。
P2: And the restroom is over here. 卧室在这边。
P1: It’s nice and sunny. 很好，采光也不错。
P2: Well, What do you think? Are you interested?

P1: Yes, I'd like to take it. 是的，我租了。
