Humbug 7! ", Charles Dickens’ novel--- A Christmas Carol, the tale of Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim and holiday’s spirit, is first published in Britain.


1972, Apollo 17th, splashes down the Pacific Ocean, bringing the last of America’s manned missions to the Moon to an end.
