It can sound like musical instruments or, it can sound like nothing you have ever heard before. An emerging 1 musical form called 'beatboxing' isn't exactly singing. But the music is created only by using a human voice and mouth, lips, tongue, nose and throat. London played host recently to the highlight 2 in the beatboxing calendar: an international convention 3 at the South Bank Arts Center . The convention is an opportunity for beatboxers from around the world to meet in person and try out their skills. Catherine Drew brings us this new form of music.
