U.S. economic troubles are being blamed for rising energy prices, but it is not just the price of oil that is going up. The average grocery 1 bill is also rising. Twelve eggs now costs about 30 percent more than they did just a year ago. And consumer 2 advocates 3 say Americans are not just paying more for some products.
