在沉寂了两年之后，加拿大最受欢迎的乐队之一Nickelback发行了乐队的第五张专辑《All the Right Reasons》。而已经十分沉稳老练的Nickelback依靠此前两张专辑打下的江山，使得这张新作在发行的第一周就获得了31万7千张的高销量，以较大优势领先第二名轻松获得Billboard 200专辑榜的桂冠，同时也是近几周专辑榜的冠军专辑首次销量突破30万张。

Nickelback自从发行首张令他们大获成功的专辑《Silver Side Up》开始，便似乎每次都把乐队发行新专辑的日期固定在了秋季。在秋天这个收获的季节，Nickelback的最新专辑《All the Right Reasons》，2001年的《Silver Side Up》以及2003年的《The Long Road》和分别获得了Billboard 200专辑榜的冠军和第2，第6名。

而单就《All the Right Reasons》中的音乐来说，Nickelback保持了以往专辑中一贯的风格：主唱Chad Kroeger标志性的唱腔和乐队整体缓慢而沉重的riff依然能征服很多乐迷的耳朵。值得一提的是，在新专辑中，乐队的鼓手已经更换为原3 Doors Down的鼓手Daniel Adair，事实证明，Daniel Adair这次处子秀是非常成功的，完全不逊于乐队前任鼓手。而这张专辑中另一个卖点就是，专辑的歌曲中包含有已故的前著名金属乐队潘多拉（Pantera）的吉他手Dimebag Darrel和ZZ Top乐队的Billy Gibbons的演奏。可以看出，Nickelback在新专辑中还尽力想在编曲和配器方面力求更加丰富，加入了更多的键盘和木吉他演奏。但客观地说，这张整体水平依然非常出色的专辑与Nickelback此前的作品相比会让人略有雷同的感觉，缺少明显的突破和变化。
