After fan pressure including threads of boycott 1 the cracker 2 barrel restaurant chaine reversed its decision to drop selling products from the show.  You told us we made a mistake with a company statement xx, you won't shy about it. Nor is Dynasty  patriach and star of the show Phil Robertson, he is not backing away from the statement he made, suggesting homosexuality could lead to be bestiality.Leading a bible study group yesterday, Robertson said " I love all men and women, I'm a lover of humanity not a hater." And he is only repeating

lessons from the scripture 3, he says " I'm just reading what was written over 2000 years ago," he told the group, "Those who live like this will not inherent the kingdom. All I did was quote from scriptures 4, but they meaning his critics just didn't know it."

Will Pxx, reporter from Britain's Daily Mail was with Robertson when he said that at the bible study. He joins us tonight.

So Will, you had the sub-close look, can you say Robertson doesn't see faith at least by the fire storm?

Not in anyway shape or form, he is perfectly 5 comfort with what he says, he believes what he said, he's got steadfast 6 religious believes that aren't affected 7 by anyone. Nothing you must me or any network is gonna make any differences to what he believes. To be quite frank, he doesn't say anything usually controversial.
He doesn't think it's all controversial.

Well, I mean obviously, he is aware of what's been going around him,and seeing the media reaction. But from his perspective, he is simply saying what he believes, speading the word of someone, you know, higher power. You know, the fundamental issue is the, from my limited experience down there, it seems the vast majority of local population concurred 9 with him and agreed with him.

You say concur 8 and agree with him, actually give us a little bit more insight. You say the people in church actually refer to this controversy 10 as a bless. How's so?
Well, they're hugely religious community, firstly. And they see this an opportunity to spead their message, the message they're firmly believing. It's giving them platform by which to spread the word of God as they see it, anyway.

I want you to take us inside. You were invited to attend the small bible study group and it was led by Robertson there at the church, take us inside that room.
I was showing up to a small classroom, I suppose you can describe it as that, upstairs and Mr. Robertson was in there in four camouflage 11 gear, several of his friends were there, also fully 12 bearded with camouflage on, they're huge incredibly friendly welcoming, interested to know what I was doing there , where I was from, exx. And then after ten minutes preliminary conversation, he started this bible study group, which went some for about 45 mins, referencing me and a nuumber of occasions and it was interesting.

That referencing you and a couple of occasions, he also said this at the end " I will not give or back up for my path, because you concur death, Father, so we are not worried about all the repercussions 13. Talking in a bxx sense, but you think talking about himself as well?

It was a prayer, I mean, he was saying a prayer that he had come up with off top his head, I mean, some of he did, you know, they do a lot of these things at hoc, that was a prayer that was obviously specific to what had happened the previous week.  I mean, obviously, it has cxx beyong that, but I think it was directly in reference to the controversy and the fire storm of last week.

So after the bible study class, Robertson joined the congregation about 1000 people for the Sunday service. And you say he was axx out of the church back door about ten minutes before the service ending. You think to avoid the media?

I think so, that's the slight paradox 14 in this. Obviously, I was invited in and they were very welcoming. But by the same token, they did seemed to be taking measures to avoid him being accosted 15 by anyone from the media. I think also they were potentially concerned about protests or anything like that. From a known-media perspective, obviously what he said has upset a number of people. So, yes, he left ten minutes earlier, but you know, he read it casually 16, but it was very much  concerted effort, to get him away before he could be spoken to anyone else.

For transparency sake here, why do you think he spent a lot of time with you? Did the Daily Mail pay for the interview or access of any kind?

No, we didn't pay, in any way, shape or form. If you ask me why spoke 17 to me specifically, I think  with all these things , I'm sure you're aware, luck and timing 18. And you know, being in the right place and right time plays a part. But I think, as I said at the very beginning, Mr. Robertson is steadfast in his believes and he is not ashamed of what he said, because he believes its to be true. So therefore, why he would be scared of speaking to the media, you know, or me. At very least, he is confident of what he says and he proactively wants to get this message out there.
