"Tears in heaven"是Eric Clapton(埃里克·克莱普顿)献给他死去的儿子的。1991年，Clapton 4岁的儿子由于保姆的不慎意外坠楼身亡，这个打击几乎让他一蹶不振。从此他寄情于音乐，用不间断的创作缓解难以负荷的伤痛，用至情至胜的歌声超度死者的灵魂
