1. Dixie Chicks：美国乡村女子乐队“南方小鸡”，又称“狄克西女子合唱团”。
美国俚语中，“chick”表示“少女或少妇”，由此，“Dixie Chicks”有时也被称为“南方妞儿”。
“Dixie”常用来指代美国南部各州，因19世纪末一首颇为流行的歌曲“I wish I was in Dixie”被大众广泛接受。词源上，有观点认为，dixie源于法语词“dix”（10）。此外，新奥尔良地方银行发行的10美元钞票上也曾一度出现过“dix”字样。
