But we are starting in Ukraine, there is a crisis 1 in the country, and it is not calming down. Yesterday US vice 2 president Joe Biden arrived in Kiev, the Ukrainian capital. He promised more US assitants, money mostly, for the struggling Ukrainian government. One challenge it  faces is lack funds. Another the fact is many people in east Ukrain don't support their new government. And about a dozen Ukrainian citizens in towns, protesters have taken over buldings, demanding closer ties with Russia. That country has been accused of stirring up these protest in planning to take over more parts in Ukrain. Russia denies this, saying it has no swaying over the protest in Ukrain.

Next up, morning in South Korea, more than 80 people lost their lives, when the ferry sunk off the country's coast on Wednesday. But more than 200 others are still missing. And hopes are feeding for rescuing any other survivers. South Korea's president says the action of the captain and some crew members were letting murder. The captain has been charged with a number of crimes, from the poor sailing cause the ship to sink to failling to help passengers to escape. The captain says the cold water tempreture in fast current made him hesitate to tell people to  abondon ship. And though 174 people were rescued after the accident, no survivers has been found since 16, April. Still divers 3 continue to search the submerged ferry in the hope that some passengers might found in the airpocket.

At the 2014 Boston Marathon yesterday, a year after a terrorist 4 attack at the same event, the race announcer told 36,000 runners take back that finish line. And for the first time since 1983, an American won it. 36-year-old Nite C of the US was the first man to cross, having run the 26.2 miles in 2h8m37s. For the women, 33-year-old Rita J from Kenya crossed first. Her time was 2h18m57s. That is a  course record for a woman. And this two had more competition to beat. There were 9,000 more runners than in 2013. An another example of Boston's drawing the event's largest crowd ever was expected to cheer them on.
