Experience is the Best Teacher
There is a hot debate that we should gain our knowledge about the world and our life from action or from books. Obviously, people in growing numbers are beginning to realize that learning by doing is better than learning only by reading.
As an old saying goes, "Experience is the best teacher". I can't agree more. Firstly, the most important or the hardest lessons which we learn in life come from our full participation 3 in situations. For instance, we learn how to get along with others from our traveling experience. Secondly 4, you aren't able to swim if you never jump into the pool. Finally, we can only make a successful chemistry experiment or fix our favorite bicycles by mending them.
In my opinion, we cannot learn how to love and care through books; they come from our real life experience. Therefore, it is necessary that we get a real understanding of knowledge from books, and then keep trying to apply it to real world situations.
