Former Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant's Philadelphia-area high school was broken into and the thieves made out with quite a haul of the NBA legend's memorabilia. Or so they thought.
前洛杉矶湖人队传奇球星科比·布莱恩特位于费城的高中母校于日前失窃，窃贼盗走多件属于这位NBA传奇球星的纪念品，或者是窃贼认为属于科比的纪念品。
Authorities are investigating the theft of several items that were lifted from a display case outside the Bryant Gymnasium at Lower Merion High School.

While the looters likely assumed that the case known as "Kobe's Shrine 1" was filled with valuable relics 2, the school says that the items are mostly nostalgic and aren't worth much.

Among the stolen items were a 1996 state championship trophy 3 and net from the title game, a framed replica 4 of Bryant's Lower Merion jersey 5 and some Nike sneakers signed by the Lakers legend.

"While the items from the case are not of significant monetary 6 value, they do have a great deal of sentimental 7 importance," said Lower Merion principal Sean Hughes in statement that was emailed to parents on Monday.
