1.Alabama police are searching for an attorney abducted 1 near her office in downtown Birmingham, Alabama this morning. Witnesses say a gunman approached 34-year-old Sandra Eubank Gregory and forced her into the vehicle. The Birmingham News reports someone has accessed Gregory's bank account since the kidnapping.
2. President Bush says he is troubled by reports that Marines allegedly killed civilians 2 in Iraq. The president says if they broke laws, they will be punished. Published reports say Marines killed the civilians after a military convoy 3 was bombed.
3. General Michael Hayden is officially head of the CIA. He was sworn into office twice, the first time in a private ceremony Tuesday, President Bush attended the second public event today.
4. Mary Ann Doerrbecker is a lucky lady. She bought a lottery 4 ticket, won, lost the ticket, then got it back, all in one week. Edward Boniberger found the ticket and turned it in for her. Now Doerrbecker is 2, 500 dollars richer and more than just a little grateful.
