音乐咖啡厅:honey迷幻王国的艳丽女声
the hush 1 sound是近几个月来令我最感惊艳的组合，女声柔韧有力，摄人心魄，再配合上其他三位男性成员的和声相映衬以及古典钢琴的点缀，一张完美的专辑就这样诞生了。

The Hush Sound一开始是由Bob Morris(guitar)和Greta Salpeter(piano/guitar)组成，Greta Salpeter从三岁就开始学习古典钢琴，后来经过朋友介绍认识了Morris，两人发现致趣相同，尽管一个7年级，一个10年级，但两人还是一有空就做自己的音乐，在2004年寒假，两个开始正式写歌，并起了个名字叫"The hush" ，而"sound"是两个觉得可能叫出来会更上口最后才加上的。随着深入，两人觉得"二重唱"没意思，就决定在招两个人组成个"四重唱"，Darren Wilson (drums)、Chris Faller (bass)就是在这种情况下加入的。Faller更是放弃了另外两个乐队的邀请，最后加入The Hush Sound，使得乐队最后完整。"四重唱"（每个人都是歌唱的一份子）两个月后在自己的录音室完成了小样，两个晚上居然卖出了300多张！这引起了Pete Wentz (Fall Out Boy发起人)注意并把他们签下自己旗下Decaydance。随后他们重新发布了那张小样并起名"So Sudden"。2006年乐队发行第二张专辑 "Like Vines"
The Hush Sound提供了一种不同于以往那种单一的饱和rock场景，这种indie-folk-pop-rock风格崩发出充满诡异的吉他即兴片段、振奋的钢琴部分、层次分明的男女重唱。这种风格难以归纳，但却是最原始最充满想像的，影响乐队的范围从Paul Simon到The Shins到The Format 4......
