拉丁美洲女歌手莎奇拉(Shakira)生于哥伦比亚，13岁出道，14岁和SONY签了第一张唱片合约；先后做过模特，演员，最后终于摸索出了自己的路子，成功打入北美乐坛。在这之前，她凭着出色的唱腔，在2000年秋季夺得了首届拉丁美洲格莱美音乐大奖；并成为百事可乐的广告歌曲主唱。去年底推出的首张英语唱片<<洗衣服务>>(Laundry Service) 售绩不俗，今年再接再励，将出<<在你的衣服下>>(Underneath Your Clothes) 。
