电影《美国开瑞上尉》（Captain Carey U.S.A）(又作《古堡歼仇记》)插曲。
二次大战结束后，美军的开瑞上尉(埃伦-莱德饰)回到了意大利北部的一个小镇，去揭露一个出卖战友的告密者。这时他发现原以为死去的情人仍然健在，并已嫁给了那个叛徒。
米切尔-莱森执导的这部影片虽然情节错综复杂，但并不成功。惟一留下来的，令人久久不能忘怀的是这首插曲《蒙娜-丽莎》——它歌唱的并不是达-芬奇的名画，而是那个外号叫蒙娜-丽莎的女主人公(旺达-亨屈利克斯饰)。歌曲获1950年第23届奥斯卡最佳电影歌曲奖。
