《Soundtrack to Your Life》是已解散的著名流行组合欧城男孩（O-Town）成员阿什利·帕克·安吉尔（Ashley Parker Angel）的首张个人专辑，在发行首周的单周销量达到7万2千张，名列本周Billboard 200专辑榜的第五位。而O-Town组合的首张同名专辑《O-Town》在2001年1月首周上榜时也是排在Billboard 200专辑榜第五位，但首周的销量比本张专辑高了一倍，达到14万5千张。
O-Town组合在2002年解散之后，最为其成员之一的Ashley Parker Angel一度也从所有人的视线中淡出，但有野心的Ashley Parker Angel并没有像O-Town其他成员一样就此永远消失。他用这张一改以往风格的摇滚专辑《Soundtrack to Your Life》宣告复出，同时也令昔日喜欢O-Town组合的歌迷惊喜万分。听过这张专辑，我们就会发现这已经不是大家以前熟悉的那个Ashley Parker Angel了，因为小伙子开始玩摇滚了！在这张共有12首歌的专辑中，Ashley Parker Angel不仅参与到所有12首歌曲的创作中，而且还一改昔日歌迷所熟悉的流行舞曲的曲风，玩起了流行朋克。《Let U Go》，《I'm Better》和《Soundtrack to Your Life》都更像是某支小流行朋克乐队的作品，不仅旋律流畅上口，而且给人感觉是Ashley已经彻底告别了O-Town的流行组合时代，在向着自己理想中创作型音乐人的目标努力。
与前不久发片的前98度成员尼克·拉奇（Nick Lachey）新发行的个人专辑《What's Left of Me》相比，Ashley Parker Angel不仅有着比对方更胜一筹的创作能力，而且对旋律的把握也明显更为出色。在本张专辑的后半部分，《Where Did You Go?》和《Apology》这两首以钢琴伴奏的抒情慢歌可以显示出他不俗的创作功力。总的来说，Ashley Parker Angel这次转型还是比较成功的，对他来说，这是一个崭新的开始。
