CCTV9英语新闻：Chinese President Xi to visit Finland on Tuesday

Ahead of the Xi-Trump summit, the Chinese President will first pay a state visit to Finland. President Xi will visit the country from Tuesday to Thursday, his first to Northern Europe as head of state.
Prior to his visit, Xi published an article in the Finnish newspaper Helsinki Times, entitled "Our Enduring Friendship". In the article, President Xi says the two countries are working to build a future-oriented new-type of cooperative partnership"...He notes that the cooperation between the two nations has "delivered clear benefits to both sides"... Xi Jinping welcomes Finland to take an active part in China’s Belt and Road initiative. He also expressed his hope that China and the EU could make new contributions to global peace and prosperity"....
During his visit, President Xi will hold talks with his Finnish counterpart Sauli Niinistoand other Finnish top officials. Enhanced cooperation in various sectors is expected.
