Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic is currently in China on an official state visit, and he spoke to CGTN's foreign affairs reporter Su Yuting about how the two countries can cooperate within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.
"Serbia is fully behind the Belt and Road Initiative. We wanted to be a center along this route to help facilitate communications between China and Central and Eastern European countries. Our relationship with China is not conditioned by any circumstances. The history of our two countries is not burdened by any questions. This kind of experience has created a strong bond between us. The Belt and Road Initiative shows that China wants to share the world's goodness with everyone," Nikolic said.
