"Cool, alright." He's always been around horses. "I've had him ever since he was a 2-year-old, now he is 15." Lester Courtney has always loved to load up and head to the great outdoors. He and his wife Carol have spent a lot of time at their horses, not for recreation, but for work.
The Courtneys are loggers, part of a small group. All that remains 1 of what used to be the foundation of the forestry 2 industry. Once the trees are down and tramped , Dan and Mady come in. Lester Courtney has always logged with horses, mules 3 or oxen. Lester believes the machines don't do it better.
"Well, we don't tear up the ground like cabs and gaiters . We go in and, within 6 months we won't even know we were there. Coz' all grown back again. You don't have them in big white ? makes it, the forest look better.”
